R.I.P. Nic Roeg — director of the ground-breaking “Walkabout,” “Don’t Look Now,” “The Man Who Fell To Earth” and “Bad Timing” who invented a new dynamic in film through innovative montage and handling of narrative, was a stunning cinematographer, and had a unique vision that helped show that film is, at its best, the greatest art form ever created.
